I Got A Man...

I love me some old school hip hop...old Outkast, Black Eyed Peas before Fergie, LLCoolJ via Mama Said Knock You Out, Biggie, Tupac, Dre and Snoop, Ice Cube, even Too Short...and the Queen Latifah. So many acts to name, such a bad memory...Oh yeah, Tribe Called Quest, maybe my all time favorite. I love when my local station does their lunchtime "old school" block of three tunes. I crank it, or turn it up a little when the kiddies are riding with me...but, if I'm riding solo better watch out people. I groove and drive. This song came on the other day, and I forced the munchkins to groove along with me. We all need that music that just gets us moving, and puts a smile on our face, even the silly songs...Life is so hectic, and sometimes we just need to dance (not twerk)!!!

This is for "my man" who grew up in a time when KC and the Sunshine Band was grooving. Luckily, I am teaching him the ways.
