Style Inspiration...

I am trying to re-work my wardrobe and experiment with new styles...while staying true to who I have always been when it comes to fashion. I have never been someone to totally follow one specific trend...I like to mix it up, and play with different styles. As a mom now I also need to be comfortable most of the time. I like playing dress up now, and can't wait to look back on my archives in the months and hopefully years to come. I was browsing on Lookbook ( http://lookbook.nu/ ) and Chictopia ( http://www.chictopia.com/ ) for some style inspiration...here are some that quickly captured my eyes.

I would wear something similar to this everyday if I could...so into dresses right now, going to try and post a pic with one in the morning.

 Noticed she was from Portland which is way cool...simple outfit but really stood out to me in the most positive way. Especially love the hat.

 Wavy short hair looks so good on her...Love the mismatched prints and the cardigan. I grew up in Seattle during the grunge years so I have always been partial to an oversized cardigan sweater.

 If I were in a band I would wear this to my first show. But only if I were the lead singer.

 Another simple ensemble but so chic. I want to recreate this look soon. I may have all the clothes to do it with!

Feminine dress with black leather. This looks great, and she has the coolest color of hair. If I could maintain that I would try it...

 

Why do fashion posts always make me want to shop? Guess I will shop my closet after some sleep!
